The information on this website
The content on this website is provided to help prospective clients understand our design, manufacturing and installation services, and to view examples of our completed work. We take care to keep information accurate, but portfolio examples are illustrative of past projects and individual results will vary depending on the specific brief, materials and site conditions.
Nothing on this website constitutes a formal quotation, confirmed commission or binding contract. All projects are individually designed, quoted and agreed in writing before any work commences. Timescales, materials and costs will be confirmed at the point of commission.
Project enquiries and commissions
Submitting an enquiry through this website does not constitute a confirmed commission or create any obligation on either party. All projects begin with an initial consultation — in person, by phone or by video call — followed by a site survey where required, and a detailed written quotation.
A commission is only confirmed once a written quotation has been accepted by the client and confirmed in writing by IWM Designs. No design work, manufacture or installation will commence until this agreement is in place and any required deposit has been received.
Bespoke design and intellectual property
Design ownership
All designs created by IWM Designs — including hand-drawn sketches, technical drawings, design concepts and finished specifications — remain the intellectual property of IWM Designs Ltd until full payment has been received for the relevant project. Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the commissioned design is transferred to the client.
Design concepts, drawings or proposals produced during the quotation or pre-commission stage remain the property of IWM Designs at all times. They may not be reproduced, used or shared with third parties — including other manufacturers or contractors — without our express written consent.
IWM Designs retains the right to photograph and feature completed installations in our portfolio and on our website and social media, unless the client has specifically requested otherwise in writing.
Site surveys and installation
Where a site survey is required prior to quotation or installation, it is the client’s responsibility to ensure safe and reasonable access to the premises at the agreed time. Any structural, electrical or building constraints that may affect the design or installation must be disclosed prior to survey and confirmed in writing before the project commences.
Installation work is carried out with minimal disruption to the client’s business and can be arranged out of hours or at weekends where required. Specific installation terms, including access requirements, timescales and handover arrangements, will be set out in the project agreement.
IWM Designs accepts no liability for delays, additional costs or design amendments arising from undisclosed site conditions or access restrictions discovered after a survey or during installation.
Portfolio content
All portfolio images, project photographs and design illustrations shown on this website are the property of IWM Designs Ltd and are displayed with the knowledge of the relevant clients. They may not be downloaded, reproduced or used for any commercial purpose without our written permission. Portfolio content is intended solely to illustrate the quality and range of our work.
Intellectual property — website content
All content on this website — including text, design illustrations, photographs, logos and the overall design — belongs to IWM Designs Ltd or is used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You must not reproduce, republish or distribute any content for commercial purposes without our written consent.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
We take care to ensure the information on this website is accurate, but we cannot guarantee this at all times. Portfolio examples are illustrative of past projects and are not a guarantee of specific outcomes for future commissions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, IWM Designs Ltd will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content. This does not affect any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
